Update
All sites (except for the ones who have notified us in advance) have now the Classic Editor plugin installed and active. The WordPress upgrade to v 5.0.3 is already in progress, working smoothly with no incidents reported so far. Please remember that there is a short window of a few minutes when the wp-admin is unavailable during the maintenance process. Thank you!

Scheduled
Monday January 21st, starting with 12:00 EEST ( 02:00 PDT/PST | 05:00 EDT/EST ), we'll be updating Wordpress to the latest version 5.0.3 on all production instances. During this time, the wp-admin can become inaccessible for brief periods of time while the new version is applied. The public sites will not be affected and they will work normally. For any inquiries during this time don't hesitate to contact us at support@presslabs.com.

As this upgrade is a special one because of the Gutenberg editor, we'll first install & activate the Classic Editor Plugin, so that there will actually be no impact on the current editorial flow. In case you want to try the new Gutenberg editor, you'll be able to do this on the development site which already runs on WordPress 5.0.3 and when you're ready to test it in production, just deactivate the Classic Editor plugin and you'll be good to go!.

For any questions or simply you don't want to use the Classic Editor, please let us know at support@presslabs.com and we'll skip the installation for your site.
