We are currently facing some incompatibilities on our storage layer.
They are coming from the combination of filesystem and operating system we are using, ZFS and Ubuntu.
In order to fix the problems, we are going to make a significant upgrade to those two components.
This upgrade will be first performed on the US East Coast cluster, on replica servers and after the entire system is stable, we'll move forward with the primary.
The process will start on 2016-08-25 08:00 UTC and we expect to be over at 12:00 UTC.
During this period of time, no data will be lost and the public sites will not be affected, but we are expecting downtime for wp-admin area for brief periods of time.
